Contact Creative Book Studio

Tell us where your book stands and we will tell you what it needs next. Most first conversations take about twenty minutes and cover the manuscript, your goals for it, and what the work would involve.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST

Emails sent outside those hours get answered the next working day.

Send Us the Manuscript

You can attach the full manuscript, a few sample chapters, or an outline if the writing is still in progress. Word documents and PDFs both work. Along with the file, it helps to know the genre, roughly how long the book runs, and what you have already had done to it, such as an edit or a cover.

Nothing you send gets shared outside the studio, and we sign a confidentiality agreement on request before you send anything at all.

What Happens After You Write to Us

We Read What You Sent

A publishing director reads the sample and looks at where the book currently stands. This is a real read rather than a scan, so it takes a couple of days rather than an hour.

We Come Back With a Plan

You receive a written outline of what the book needs, the order to do it in, a cost for each part, and dates we can commit to. Nothing about it obliges you to book anything.

You Decide What to Take

Some authors take the full build. Others take a cover, or an edit, or the marketing only. The plan is broken into parts so you can pick from it rather than accept all of it.

Already Working With Us

If your book is in production, contact your publishing director directly on the line they gave you at the start. That is the fastest route for anything about drafts, proofs, schedules, or files. The general inbox works too and gets passed along the same day.

Working With Authors Outside the United States

Roughly a third of our authors write from outside the country. Calls are booked around your time zone rather than ours, invoices can be issued in your currency, and distribution covers international storefronts as standard.
