About Creative Book Studio

Creative Book Studio LLC is a publishing studio for authors who are doing this on their own terms. We handle editing, cover design, page layout, audio, distribution, and marketing under one roof, as a single team working from a single plan rather than a directory of freelancers you have to manage yourself. More than 250 independent authors have published with us.

[Founder Name] started the studio in [year] after years of watching good manuscripts stall between contractors. An author would pay for a solid edit, then hire a designer who had never read the book, then work out retail listings alone at the end of a long night. Nobody owned the finished result, so nobody was accountable for it. The studio was built to close that gap and put one team behind each title from the first read to the first sales report.

We work from [City, State] with editors, designers, and narrators in several countries, which lets us match a book to people who genuinely read in that category.

How the Studio Started

What We Hold To

The Author Owns the Book

Copyright, ISBNs, retail accounts, source files, and royalty payments stay with you. We build the book and you keep it, including everything we made, if you ever decide to work with someone else.

Prices & Dates Are Agreed First

You see the full scope, the full cost, and the dates before any work begins. When something needs longer, we tell you while there is still time to plan around it rather than the week it was due.

Books Are Made for Readers

Every decision on your book gets weighed against what a reader will make of it. That includes the ones nobody notices, such as the typeface, the chapter openings, and where the sample preview happens to end.

Who You Work With

Each book is assigned a publishing director who stays with it from the first call to the last report. Around that person sits the team the book actually needs, which usually means a developmental editor, a line editor and proofreader, a cover designer, a typesetter, and a marketing lead. Audiobooks add a narrator and a mastering engineer. You deal with your director, and your director deals with everyone else.

The Books We Have Worked On

Our authors write memoir, literary and commercial fiction, thrillers, business and leadership titles, poetry, and picture books for children. A debut novel and a leadership book have almost nothing in common in what they need from us, so the plan gets built around the book on the table rather than a house formula we apply to everything.

How We Work

The process is the same for every title and it holds four stages. We read the manuscript and agree what the book is aiming to do. Editing and design run alongside each other so the words and the look arrive matched. Files go out to print and retail with the metadata set up correctly. Then launch support keeps the title selling once release week is over.

You see the work as it is made. Drafts, cover concepts, and proofs come to you while there is still room to change them.

Talk to Us About Your Book

Send the manuscript, a sample chapter, or an outline if that is as far as you have come. We will read it, ask what a successful release looks like to you, and come back with a plan, a cost, and a set of dates. The first conversation costs nothing and ties you to nothing.
