Getting Published Was the First Half of the Work

Plenty of good books sit at a handful of copies a month because nobody can find them. The writing is usually not the problem and neither is the cover. The listing sits in the wrong category, the keywords point at readers who were never going to buy, and the page gives no one a reason to click. That is the part we work on.

Start With Why the Book Is Not Selling

Before we sell you anything, we read your retail pages twice, once the way a shopper sees them and once the way the retailer’s algorithm does. We look at the categories the book sits in, the keywords attached to it, the sample that shows in the preview, the review count, the price next to comparable titles, and how the cover holds up at thumbnail size beside the books it is competing with.

You get that back as a written review with the problems ranked by what each one is costing you. Some authors read it, fix three things themselves, and never hire us for anything else. That is a fair outcome and we will tell you when it is the likely one.

Where the Sales Usually Leak

Category & Keyword Placement

Books get parked in categories that are either too broad to rank in or too far from what the book actually is. We move the title into categories where it can reach a visible position and attach keywords that match how real readers phrase their searches.

The Retail Page Itself

Your description is the sales page, and most are written like back cover copy. We rewrite it to open on a hook, break into passages people will actually read, and close on a reason to buy today. It gets formatted properly so it does not land as one grey block of text.

Reviews & Social Proof

A book with only a few reviews converts poorly no matter how much traffic reaches it. We run outreach to reviewers, bloggers, and podcasts inside your genre, and set up a review request in the back matter so new readers keep the count moving.

Price & Promotion

Most authors set a price once and never revisit it. We test price points, plan countdown deals and free runs around the dates that matter in your category, and line up promotion sites for the weeks the price drops.

Paid Advertising

Amazon and Meta campaigns get built around the keywords the research turned up, started small, then cut or scaled based on what the numbers do. You see the spend and the return in plain figures every month.

Channels the Book Is Missing

A lot of titles live on Kindle and nowhere else. Print through IngramSpark opens bookstores and libraries, audio reaches an audience that never reads on a screen, and international storefronts sell more than most authors expect them to.

How the Work Runs

Review

We audit the listings, the market around them, and the sales history so far, then send you the written review with our findings.

Plan

We agree on what to fix, the order to fix it in, and what each part costs. Nothing begins until you have approved the scope and the figure.

Execute

Listings, descriptions, categories, keywords, and creative get rebuilt first. Outreach and paid campaigns start once the pages are ready to receive the traffic they send.

Report

Every month you receive a report covering units sold, revenue, ad spend, and what we changed, along with what we intend to do next.

Your Book Stays Yours

We work inside your accounts rather than ours. The copyright, the ISBNs, the retailer logins, and the royalty payments all stay with you from the first day. If you decide to stop working with us, everything we built stays in place and you carry on without us.

What This Costs

Pricing depends on how much of the work you want and how many channels the book is already in. Most authors start with the review and then take one or two areas rather than all of them at once. We quote a fixed figure against agreed scope, and the advertising budget sits separately and gets paid by you directly to the platform.

Send Us the Book

Give us the title, the retail links, and an honest sense of how it has sold so far. We will look at it properly and come back with what we found and what we would do about it. The review costs nothing and carries no obligation afterward.
